Vacuum in packaging and food processing
Vacuum is used for form-fill-seal packaging, tray sealing, vacuum cooling, conveying and deaeration. Hygiene and reliability matter more than ultimate pressure: oil-free pumps avoid contamination risk, while oil-lubricated rotary vane pumps remain cost-effective where a trace of oil vapour is acceptable.
