Change mineral oil at about 2,000–4,000 running hours or every six months, whichever comes first. Synthetic oil can last longer. Humid, dusty or high-temperature duty needs shorter intervals and oil-circuit flushing.
Replace the oil filter at the same time, check the inlet strainer and exhaust filter, and never mix oils of different brands or grades.
