Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump (Oil-Lubricated)
The rugged rotary vane pump is also suitable for applications with larger pressure differentials in vacuum or pressure operation. An eccentrically mounted slotted rotor rotates in a cylindrical pump chamber, and precisely matched vanes move in the rotor slots to separate the individual working chambers. Compared with non-oil-lubricated rotary vane pumps, oil-lubricated rotary vane pumps seal the working chambers with circulating lubricating oil. Because oil-lubricated rotary vane pumps can generate a higher vacuum, they are suitable for applications requiring a higher vacuum.
