Rotary Vane Vacuum Pump (Oil-Lubricated)
The robust rotary vane pump is also suitable for operating conditions with large pressure differences in vacuum or pressure applications. An eccentrically mounted slotted rotor rotates in a cylindrical pump chamber; precisely matched vanes move in the rotor slots and separate the individual working chambers. Compared with oil-free rotary vane pumps, oil-lubricated rotary vane pumps seal the working chambers with circulating lubricating oil. Because oil-lubricated rotary vane pumps can generate a higher vacuum, they are suitable for applications requiring higher vacuum.
