Rotary vane vacuum pump (oil-lubricated)
The robustly constructed rotary vane pump is also suitable for applications with large pressure differentials in vacuum or pressure operation. An eccentrically mounted slotted rotor rotates in a cylindrical pump chamber, and precisely matched vanes slide in the rotor slots, separating the individual working chambers. Compared with dry-running rotary vane pumps, oil-lubricated rotary vane pumps seal the working chambers with circulating lubricating oil. Because oil-lubricated rotary vane pumps can generate a higher vacuum, they are suitable for applications requiring higher vacuum levels.
