Rotary vane vacuum pump (oil-lubricated)
The sturdy rotary vane pump is also suitable for applications with large pressure differentials in vacuum or pressure operation. The eccentrically mounted slotted rotor rotates in the cylindrical pump chamber; precisely matched vanes move in the rotor slots and separate the individual working chambers. Unlike oil-free rotary vane pumps, oil-lubricated rotary vane pumps seal the working chambers with circulating lubricating oil. Since oil-lubricated rotary vane pumps can generate a higher vacuum, they are suitable for applications requiring higher vacuum.
