Defining vacuum - SCROLLVAC plus, Leybold's new dry scroll pump.
The new SCROLLVAC plus vacuum pump is the latest addition to our dry pump series. SCROLLVAC plus offers a flexible, robust and simple vacuum pump solution for a wide range of applications, demonstrating the potential of dry scroll pumps.
Vacuum pumping principle
A scroll pump consists of two intermeshing scroll forms. One scroll is mounted eccentrically on the other and moves it in an orbit relative to the fixed scroll. This creates crescent-shaped volumes that are driven from the outside to the inside, thereby pumping gas.
Able to handle the widest range of applications...
Flexible.
We understand that flexibility and choice are essential when selecting the right dry vacuum solution for your application. With single-phase and three-phase variants and versions for special applications, you are sure to find the SCROLLVAC plus series member that suits you.
Pump versions cover 7, 10, 15 and 18 m3 /h pumping speed
Single-phase variants feature a universal voltage drive for constant performance worldwide
Three-phase non-electronic variants for radiation and high magnetic field applications
Integrated gas ballast enables pumping of condensable vapors
The compact, lightweight design allows easy integration into your new or existing vacuum system
Ready to withstand and overcome demanding conditions……
Robust.
SCROLLVAC plus is designed to maintain performance and reliability in the most demanding applications. With the bearings completely separated from the pumping mechanism, you can ensure zero contamination within the vacuum envelope and excellent vapor handling capability.
A true dry vacuum pump with pump bearings isolated from the vacuum space, eliminating any risk of contamination
No shaft seal wear, extending service intervals and improving sealing performance
The ideal dry pump solution for backing turbomolecular pumps and cryopumps
The optional C variant is available for certain applications involving pumping corrosive media and chemicals
Easy to understand and straightforward……
Simple.
Not only are servicing and end seal replacement simple and quick, but long service intervals mean SCROLLVAC plus can be a “fit-and-forget” solution.
The latest tip seal technology significantly extends the interval between tip seal replacements, typically to 2.5 years, maximizing uptime and productivity
Easy maintenance with typical tip seals replaceable in 10 minutes
Run-time counter as standard
Save costs by switching to the latest technology……
Environment.
Think the environment is too big to make an impact? We are constantly looking at ways to reduce environmental impact, and choosing the latest SCROLLVAC plus can immediately improve your local workspace.
No contaminated waste oil to handle, and no expensive disposal or waste oil recycling
< 55 dB(A) low noise, suitable for quiet working/laboratory environments
Lower power consumption compared with other pumping mechanisms
Reliable product and application expertise……
Leybold, guaranteed at all times!
SCROLLVAC plus is designed for a wide range of applications, from general laboratory, light industrial and research to more aggressive chemical applications, making it easy to choose the right dry vacuum pump.
